中英全文Host: Here's the lovely young Emma Watson! Oh, Emma don't worry about it, you look great! Emma, hello! I'm Regis and she's Kelly, and welcome to our show. Jump up here Emma, let's talk. This is Emma's first time in New York, first time in America, and what are your thoughts, Emma?
Emma Watson: I love it. It's amazing.
Host: A little lively for you?
Emma: It's kind of like London intensified.
Host: Oh yeah, 'London intensified', a very good answer. Where do you live in England?
Emma: I live in Oxfordshire.
Host: And what is that like? It sounds pastoral, you know, and cattle grazing.
Emma: It's not quite that. It's got loads of colleges. I don't know if you've heard of Oxford. That's like a major college. And it's like loads of schools, and it's quite big. But it's not quite as busy as London.
Host: And you have a little brother? And what's he like?
Emma: I do. He's nice.
Host: Do you get along with him? No fighting or anything?
Host: Is he an actor as well?
Emma: No, but he's very very interested in that.
Host: Especially now with your newfound stardom, sure he wants to be you! And what do your parents do?
Emma: My parents, they're both lawyers.
Host: Now is this the very first time you've acted? How did this film come to you?
Emma: Basically my school got the audition, which is really surprising. It's a really strange way to get into it. They have an agent and stuff like that, but I didn't. And it was done at my school gym.
Host: And what was the audition like?
Emma: Well, it was exactly like a drama lesson, really. It didn't really feel as though they were auditioning us, I think about sixteen of us together. So, it kind of wasn't focused on me or anyone else.
Host: Have you been a fan of Harry Potter books before they came?
Emma: Yeah, I was in the middle of the third one when I started to even audition. So I was a major Harry Potter fan.
Host: And did you feel that you sounded like the character, that you embodied the character? Did you picture yourself as the character when you were reading the book?
Emma: It's not as glamorous as everyone sees it all the time. It's really different. There's so many people involved and everything's so big.
Host: Did you remember all your lines, or did you muff them once in a while?
Emma: Everyone muffs them once in a while. But they did it in such small chunks that you didn't have to remember that much.
Host: She does an amazing job in this film. My son has quite a crush! His first crush. You'd love him. He's three years old.
Emma: Awww, that's cute.
Host: Can't beat a good younger man, you know.
Host: Emma Watson, you'll see in the new Harry Potter movie, which is a tremendous sensation. Gonna make a big impact on your life, you wanna continue your acting career of course, right? How will this change you? Do you think that you'll leave school? What's your big plan for yourself at eleven?
Emma: I think I want to carry on in school. I'm definitely not going to drop out. I'm going to go to college.
Host: And you're going to become a lawyer?
Emma: No. You know, shoving around paper on a desk isn't really my thing.
Host: She's my kind of girl. Yeah, well go to school and get that college education, and see what happens.
Host: You know I love the way you speak. Whevever we have a guest from England on the show, I get very excited. And all of a sudden, my own British accent seeps out, "Hello Emma, how are you? Don't I sound like Cary Grant?"
